We’re delighted to reveal two more headline acts for The Gate to Southwell Festival: Peat & Diesel, returning to headline Saturday, and Elephant Sessions, making their Gate to Southwell debut as Sunday’s headliners.

When Peat & Diesel first brought their unstoppable blend of folk, punk attitude, and infectious humour to Gate to Southwell in 2022, they left a huge impression. Hailing from Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis, the trio have built a reputation for raucous live shows, sing-along choruses, and a powerful connection with their crowd, so expect driving rhythms, big choruse and plenty of laughs. Elephant Sessions

We’re equally thrilled to welcome Elephant Sessions to Gate to Southwell for the very first time, closing the Lake Stage as our Sunday headliners. Known for their genre-blending sound, Elephant Sessions seamlessly fuse traditional Scottish music with elements of funk, electronica, and jazz — all delivered with astonishing musicianship and irresistible groove.
