Four new acts announced

Another flurry of activity here sees four fantastic additions to the line-up, plus news on the Children's Festival.


Added to the music line-up are:


India Electric Co.

South-west based duo Jacob & Drinkwater have been called “stand out new folk” by BBC6 Music with their live show described as “intense and spellbinding” by Folk Radio UK

Winter Wilson

Kip Winter and Dave Wilson bring a sense of intimacy to every venue, blending superb, often hard-hitting original songs, stunning harmonies and musicianship with sometimes hilarious humour.

The Rogue Embers

The Rogue Embers have a distinctive fast paced blend of Americana/folk-rock, fuelled by driving rhythm and powerful harmonies. They went down a storm on the Frontier Stage last year and it’s great to see them back in 2022.

James the Jester

James the Jester (From Chester) is NEW to GTSF this year! His hilarious comedy multi skilled shows and walkabout leave audiences of all ages laughing.

Get ready to giggle and grove with Becky Bops! Music and movement sessions for Babies and Toddlers!

Out of the Chicken Shed

Out of the Chicken Shed are a local family run business who handmake children's toys, learning aids and furniture.

Keith Donnelly

Keith specialises in highly interactive stories and songs for children, inviting their participation, stretching their imaginations and stimulating creativity, with every tale and tune.

Walk the Lines - Storytelling

Original and classic stories brought to life by Mark Fraser, a Southwell regular and favourite. Mark creates his own stories as well as adapting classic folk tales and songs. Plus don't miss Jacob Crackers 'Slightly Spooky' Stories told as twilight falls... Not for the faint hearted!

Plus, kids' music workshops, yoga, crafts, White Post Farm, Soul Sensory, Festival Fairies, and a reading and chill-out zone!
