That's Jason McNiff according to MOJO Magazine. Plus Rogue Embers, Francesca Louise and Emily Ashberry.
Jason McNiff is a folk - alt. country troubadour and "one of the UK's best contemporary fingerstyle guitar players" says Guitarist Magazine. There is an Englishness in his guitar playing however, and you might like to think of Bert Jansch or Wizz Jones meeting John Prine & Townes Van Zandt. Time Out writes, “McNiff’s quiet, intimate, fragile-sounding vocals draw you into his world– an almost timeless place, through which he drifts, a romantic loner, a dreamer, at home with the blues.” He is often touted as one of the UK’s most overlooked musical treasures, as a songwriter and finger picker. His latest album 'Dust of Yesterday' came out in 2022 and was album of the week in The Times.
"Not just a good songwriter, a truly great one" Folk Radio

Rogue Embers have quickly established themselves as one of the fastest up and coming bands in the area and played here in 2021 and 2022. They've honed their performances into an unmissable, foot pounding, storm of a show. Their distinctive fast paced blend of Americana/Folk Rock is fuelled by driving rhythm and powerful harmonies. This combined with their raw and uplifting original song writing make The Rogue Embers a band not to be missed. Playing Sunday.
Francesca Louise is an indie/folk singer-songwriter, who's soulful, Carole King/Laura Marling inspired vocals paired with songwriting influences from the likes of Joni Mitchell, Lucy Rose and The Staves, makes her one to watch. You may have seen her on The Voice back in 2017 where she worked with Tom Jones. Playing Friday afternoon.
Emily Ashberry is an acoustic singer-songwriter and actor from the UK. With roots in traditional folk music, Emily has developed her own unique writing style. She loves taking stories, both from her own life and lives of those around her, and turning them into modern folk songs, many of which explore queer points of view. Playing across the weekend.
