The Activators are an 11-piece band whose eclectic style transcends Ska, Reggae, Celtic, Punk and Dub, even venturing into Balkan folk and Tango! Their energy, style and liking for utter mayhem have led to them becoming regulars on the live music circuit in the UK, and indeed at GTSF.
They've raised the roof across the UK and Europe sharing the stage with many great acts, and with countless festival performances including six performances at Glastonbury over recent years and being repeat bookings for the last five consecutive years at Boomtown.
If you haven't seen them yet, then you should catch them on Sunday night on the Frontier Stage this year!
Also announced recently:
Rob Heron & The Tea Pad Orchestra
Rob Heron & The Tea Pad Orchestra have been gleefully trampling over genre boundaries for over a decade now, chucking Western Swing, Blues, Country, Rock & Roll, Soul and more into their musical gumbo, but always sounding mostly just like themselves.
They last played here in 2017 and some may remember the memorable performance on the Frontier Stage (and in the midst of the audience) when the power went down and they played a magical acoustic set to a joyful crowd "the highlight of the festival" said more than one reveller!
The Rye Sisters
The Lincolnshire have performed many times at GTSF with their Americana and folk-country songs in close harmony to guitar, mandolin and fiddle.
Tier 1 Tickets
A reminder that today will be the last opportunity to get tickets at Tier 1 prices. We move to Tier 2 tonight. www.gtsf.uk/tickets
