Loads of new acts confirmed in January so far..

See the latest flyer for the line up to date, with more to come...

So far this year we've announced the transactlantic folk group The Magpies; Seb Stone's new singing trio Culverake; ceilidh bands Narthen and Tautus Roks; alternative folk band Common Culture; the sisters' fronted Hase Waits; Simon Mayor's Slim Panatella & the Mellow Virginians; and "the future of melodic songwriting" Gren Bartley;

These join cult Brixton band Alabama 3 – self-styled purveyors of “country acid house music” mixed with punk, pop, blues and techno – and Katherine Priddy, who are also among the latest artists lined up for Gate To Southwell Festival this summer. Appearing as an acoustic four-piece, Alabama 3 - famous for their Sopranos theme tune ‘Woke Up This Morning’ and their acclaimed album ‘Exile On Coldharbour Lane’– will be making their first appearance at GTSF while Katherine Priddy, an award-winning singer-songwriter, memorably appeared at GTSF back in 2022. She’s been celebrated by folk legend Richard Thompson OBE – who will headline GTSF 2025 - as “the best thing I’ve heard all year” and BBC 6 Music's Guy Garvey (Elbow) described her as “utterly brilliant, one of my favourite voices in contemporary music”.

They join an already strong line-up including former Bellowhead frontman Jon Boden, who’ll perform with his award-winning band The Remnant Kings, “Shanty Punk” band Skinny Lister, bringing comparisons with the “high octane folk funk” of Dexys and The Pogues, and two exciting international acts - kora maestro Seckou Keita appearing with his all Senegalese ensemble The Homeland Band and Barcelona's El Pony Pisador whose repertoire of traditional Spanish and Celtic music mixed with shanty songs has taken the folk world by storm. With over 50 acts already announced there’s a whole lot more to be found on the website.
