JACK BOYD

Jack Boyd is a critically acclaimed multi-instrumentalist whose genre-spanning work during a 15-year career has seen him perform at Glastonbury, The Isle of Wight and Wickham festivals with his big band, Sidmouth and Maverick festivals with his Appalachian folk band 'Fire In The Meadow', and has seen him undertake tours of Italy and China, where Jack has played sold-out shows at Hiroshima Mon Amour in Turin and composed banjo and pipa instrumentals with Chinese guitarist and folk musician Li Bing.
Following the release of his third album, the jazz/folk of 'Til The Light Comes Back', Jack has recruited his band, 'The Bold Rileys', and together they perform songs about life in Chichester, where he and his band live. The songs and live performances are heavily inspired by Tom Waits, Bill Callahan, and Conor Oberst of Bright Eyes, and Jack's lyrical flourishes about lost love and striving for meaning in a modern world are as thought-provoking as they are poignant.
