The Bapchilds are a 4 piece Honky Tonk Band, time warped from the 1950's with fiddle, dobro, double bass, and guitar. play Honky Tonk, Classic Country, Western Swing and originals, with harmony and backing vocals.

 

They all live in South Yorkshire, though none of us originate from there, and have been together for 10 years.

They appeared on 'Andy Kershaw Plays Some Bloody Good Records' in 2021 and he said:

“There’s a quality about your music, and you know I’m a Honky Tonk obsessive,

there’s a quality about the way you play, and the style in which you play, 

I’ve never heard such an authentic British Honky Tonk Band”
