Dressed in attire resembling a steampunking Welsh Nana, and with their music mixing traditional Welsh language songs with the sounds of 90s rave and nu-metal, NoGood Boyo are already on their way to taking over the music industry in Wales, and they are ready to party like it's 1699.  Named after Dylan Thomas’ bad boy character from Under Milk Wood, NoGood Boyo causes havoc in the wash house they are more interested in causing havoc with Welsh trad music and tearing up the festival dance tent. They stand by their motto, go loud or go home boyo!

The band is Beth, Sam, Aneirin and Jordan. You may know Beth (Rhiannon) and Sam (Humphreys) from another rocking trad band and ambassadors of Welsh music, Calan

Formed in Cardiff in 2017, NoGood Boyo instantly made a splash in the scene picking up nomination for 'Best New Artist' in the BBC Wales Folk Awards and were selected as part of BBC Horizons project and have won the Trophee Loic Raison at Festival Interceltique de Lorient in Brittany.

The perfect balance of paying tribute to their welsh heritage with with all out recklessness. They'll be finishing off the Frontier Stage on Friday night.
