Isabel Inkcap

22 Year Old Isabel Inkcap's sound has been influenced as much by following dad around England's folk clubs as a kid as it has by Aurora, Hayley Heynderickx, Big Thief, Aldous Harding & Laura Marling.
A stunning vocal matched by her strong songwriting, & knowledge of melody. Isabel sings and plays guitar and banjo.
She is joined by Ant Briggs on lap guitar and 12 string and Ted playing double bass and electric guitar.
Having travelled across America as an 18 year old with only her guitar for company and then getting stuck in Hanoi over lockdown, Isabel found her tempo for self-reflection and a flow to create. She came home with a head full of ideas and a bag full of songs.
In songs Me & I and Time To Let Go, Isabel's lyrics capture the breakdown of relationship, coming through despair and finding self-awareness. In Daisy there is a biting commentary on identikit culture. In her latest song Schrodinger's Cat you can hear her defiance in perfect equilibrium with her elegance.
Peppered throughout her songs is reference to her relationship with self and time.
Her songs reflect the deep thinking and progression of a young woman walking her own path, finding her creativity and defining herself
