Huson-Whyte are local duo Sarah and Gordon who won the open mic here back in 2018.

They are players of original contemporary songs that tell a story.

Sarah is a fine cellist: graduate of the Royal College of Music, she's played with orchestras around the world. She's also made many television and concert appearances alongside artists such as Will Young, Shakira, Rod Stewart, Michael Ball, Martine McCutcheon and Il Divo, and has played on Top of the Pops many times. She's played in concerts at Wembley, the Hackney Empire and the Royal Albert Hall and is in demand as a session musician for professional recordings. She's also a regular with leading punk/folk band Ferocious Dog.

Gordon is a cracking songsmith. With a wink in his eye, he writes about the antics of family life, or with a determined call to action about the struggles of the lives of people less fortunate.
