HANNAH SANDERS & BEN SAVAGE + BAND

Hannah Sanders & Ben Savage last played GTSF in 2017 and things have moved on quite a lot since then, to say the least! They'll be playing as a duo on Friday and with the band on Saturday.

Since emerging in 2016, Hannah & Ben have been defying all conventions of style, genre and compartmentalisation. A touch of ‘Americana’, yet quintessentially English. Traditional, yet contemporary, with their individual writing style. Playful and instinctive, they make music with such panache and natural chemistry it makes perfect sense.

Their intimate live show has captivated audiences across the UK, US, Canada & Asia, sharing the stage with the likes of Fairport Convention, Sarah Jarosz, Martin Simpson, Ralph McTell, Seth Lakeman and Gretchen Peters.

They released their 5th studio album “The Strangers' Share” in Autumn 2025; a record centred on dreams and the supernatural. The album sees Hannah & Ben return home to the pin-drop intimacy of the single microphone live shows that made their name in the past.

Following the success of their release of “Ink Of The Rosy Morning” Hannah & Ben spent much of 2023 touring with the legendary Fairport Convention. Inspired by their nightly on-stage jams they set about assembling a band of their own for the release of their 4th album “In The Dark We Grow”.
The line-up featured Jon Thorne (Lamb, James Yorkston), Josh Clark (Kate Rusby) & JJ Stoney (Billy Bragg) was carefully chosen to enable Hannah & Ben’s expanded shows to continue to be unique every night.
